Blue Note is well known for its visual and musical style, so when creating a poster for their Jazz Fest in New Orleans, I found it illogical to deviate completely from these standards. Inspiration was taken from the rhythms of Blue Note album covers and music. The underlying identity of Blue Note remains, but has been reconstructed and given an interpretive twist.
