Connecticut River Transit : Bus Wrap Design : Freelance Work
Connecticut River Transit is a public transportation service in southeast Vermont that needed a fresh bus wrap design to attract a younger local ridership–without turning off the elderly people and commuters who were already using the service on a regular basis. The Vermont subject matter of the eventual design appealed to adults, but when coupled with a trendy and modern illustration style, it finally connected with younger people as a familiar organic vector image from the media, however with substantially more personalization and tailoring to their local culture. April 11 update: The wrap was completed earlier this week and unveiled on April 9 during a grand ceremony! I'm also featured right now in the Weekend Brattleboro Reformer, see the article scanned below! The bus will soon be running several times a day between Brattleboro and Bellows Falls, VT, so if you're local to the area, keep an eye out for it on the road soon!
